Tanner's half-birthday

I can't believe that my baby is already six months old! He's growing so fast and getting a little personality of his own. He loves his big brother so much. Aidan talks to him in this sweet little voice and Tanner just lights up. It's so fun too watch. Pretty much anything Abe does makes Tanner smile. He loves his daddy. He likes to be sung to and play peek-a-boo. Since he was born our little nickname for him has been "bubba". It's funny, and just a coincidence, but the only thing he says is "bu bu bu bu bu" over and over again.
Today was his six-month check up. He weighed in at 17 lbs (25-50 percentile) and is 27 in long (75th percentile). The doctor said everything is perfect developmentally and she commented that he has the strongest legs she's ever seen. He really does love to stand (with help of course). He still has eczema, and his left eye is still goopy/watery. She said she would call an ophthalmologist to see when he needs to be seen about the eye. Hopefully it's just something minor.
We just love our little Tanner and are so blessed to have him in our lives!

There must be some mistake. How can he be 6 months already! Don't worry about the goopy eye thing. Trev had that. They decided to open the tear duct. Wasn't a big deal and then he didn't have any more problems.

Awww, what a cutie! And a tall one at that! I'm so glad that Aidan likes his little brother...we're still working on that one in our house. :) Time really does fly, we don't realize it until we look at our children and see how fast they are growing up!
